Goodbye sticky summer days, stuffy nights and overheating while working from home. And farewell to odours, allergens, and viruses. Hello year-round comfort, refreshing clean air, and a better night’s sleep. Cool, right?
How it Works
Quiet, discreet, and quick to install – our air conditioning units do all the hard work behind the scenes, to keep your home cool, comfy, and quiet. Air con includes two main units – an indoor box, connected inside the home, and an outdoor box, connected outside your home.
- An indoor unit, installed high inside a room in your home, removes warm air and replaces it with cooler air from an outdoor vent, which is fitted to a roof, balcony, or outside wall.
- An outdoor unit is normally fitted to a roof, balcony, or wall, this is where the warm air is released outdoors and where the cooler air can be collected.
Is it worth it?
Air conditioning does more than just keep you cool. Much more:
- Rapid, on-demand heating and cooling for individual rooms.
- Clean, filtered air with 95% less dust, smoke, and pollen.
- Circulated air with directional fans.
- Quiet, gentle cooling for a peaceful night’s sleep.
- Low humidity cooling with a higher air quality.
FAQs
How often should Air con be serviced?
Air conditioning units should ideally be serviced at least once a year, but more frequent servicing (every 6 months) is recommended for units in high-use environments or older systems. In some cases, particularly for commercial or industrial settings or those in harsher environments, more frequent servicing, such as every 3-6 months, may be necessary.
Warranty?
Worcester Bosch offers a 5-year guarantee on their Bosch air conditioning units. This guarantee covers potential issues arising from defects in the product’s materials or manufacturing. To maintain the guarantee’s validity, annual servicing by a qualified engineer is required, and the service records should be kept up-to-date
How much does Air con cost to run?
The cost to run a Worcester Bosch air conditioning unit depends on several factors, including the unit’s size (kW), its energy efficiency rating (SEER), and your usage patterns (how long and how often you run it). Modern, energy-efficient units can be relatively affordable to run, potentially costing as little as £0.73 per hour for a 2.6kW Bosch Climate 3000i unit, or around £14 per week for average usage.
How much does air con cost?
This is more difficult to answer. Honestly it depends on how big the property is and how many units are required. Other influencing factors such as electrical supply/location must be considered aswell as access to where internal and external units need to be placed.
